Ancient Hammat Gader
Ancient Hammat Gader was a bathhouse located on natural thermal mineral hot springs. Five springs fed the ancient bathhouse, which was the second most luxurious bathhouse in the 4th century Roman Empire.
The 101st kilometer is a stopping point located 101 kilometers from the Eilat-Taba border. This stretch of the road is a boring stretch with unvarying desert scenery.
The Alpaca Farm, located near the Ramon Crater in the Negev, has llamas and alpacas from the Andes in South America. The farm has many activities to offer to families and group.
The antelope ranch is like an African safari – but without the predators. The ranch has a small zoo inside the “Noah’s Ark” building, and a safari to drive through where antelope and other African animals roam.
The Yotvata Hai-Bar Nature Reserve was established to foster a protected environment for desert animals. The reserve breeds animals which were mentioned in the bible with the goal of reintroducing them to the Israel deserts (the Aravah and the Negev) which were their home. The reserve also breeds other endangered desert animals. A similar program was established in the Carmel Hai-Bar Nature Reserve for Mediterranean animals.
